Medicare EPC Team Care Plan
We are part of the Medicare EPC Enhanced Primary Care Program. This means that you can be referred to us by your GP or Medical Doctor as part of a Community Care Plan arrangement, and both your GP and our Chiropractors and Massage Therapists will work in collaboration as a Team to help you achieve your health goals. Medicare covers a $55.1 percentage of your service for up to five treatments a year. Once more, for your convenience, we will use your Medicare card and referral details to claim your treatment to Medicare, and you will only need to cover the gap payment. This means, our clients at Empowering Wellness and Burleigh Heads Chiropractic don’t need to pay the full consultation fee up-front and then claim the reimbursement to Medicare, but we will do this on the spot. Now this is great news for you!
On the spot Private Health Fund claims
Almost all Private Health Funds accepted here! At Empowering Wellness Burleigh we work with HICAPS therefore, we cover 98% of Private Health Funds. We will swipe your Health Fund card first and you will only need to cover the remaining gap.
Clients don’t need to pay the full consultation fee up-front and then wait for the reimbursement of their benefit. Our clients simply swipe their card and only pay the gap amount, which is the difference between the full fee for the treatment and the amount claimed from your health fund.
